Catch up with Keith on A&E

Hi there class of 87!

Tonight I was watching one of my favorite shows on A&E, "the First 48". The program follows police detectives around the US as they try and solve homicide cases and depicts the activities that take place during the first 48 hours after the murder.

This week, '87 alumni Keith Steinbach was shown working on a homicide case in Kansas City, MO. If you are interested in catching up with Keith and seeing him at work, watch the episode #78 called "Friend or Foe/Code of Silence"!!

Here is the link to Keith's bio at the TV show's website:

Also, remember that pictures of the 20 year reunion can be seen at Vivid Impressions:

Its GO Time!!

Reunion time is now really here!! Folks are starting to make their travels, food is being prepared, golf clubs are packed, coolers and provisions are ready, bonfire materials are stacked, awards and certificates are assembled, and the t-shirts are folded and labeled. It looks to be a great 20 year reunion.

We are going to have a big crowd with graduates, children, and former HS and Elementary teachers attending!! If you forgot to mail in your registration packet, just bring it with you and register at the door.

Friday at 9am we will start with the benefit golf tournament. Friday night the bonfire will be starting at 7pm and I hope the rain will hold off for at least a few hours!

Saturday, come up to the school's new cafeteria at 11 am. We'll visit with friends and former teachers, take a class picture, eat lunch, and catch up on the past twenty years.

I guess the only thing left to say is see you then!!

Keep the Letters Rolling In!!

The due date for registration was July 2, but we will certainly welcome any late registrations!! Letters from alumni are arriving everyday and it is exciting to know that the interest for the reunion is high.

If you haven't done so yet, please mail in your registrations and ask any alumni that you bump into if they have sent theirs in as well!!

If you misplaced or didn't receive your packet in the mail, please contact me and I'll get you registered for the events.

More Details Become Available!

Here is an update on reunion progress. Watch the mail for your registrations, they are mostly all going out this week. There are 52 graduates to contact and we only have 5 that are unlocated!!

The reunion lunch will take place at PHS new gym on July 28, 11am. Bootleg BBQ is lined up to cater our event this time, and that is a competition BBQ team and service owned and operated by our own Brad Groves!

Vivid Impressions is lined up to provide us with a picture again and they are located on the web at :
http://www.vividimpressions.net/Default.asp

Pre-reunion events will take place on the 27th and will include a benefit golf tournament in the morning and a riverside bon fire at Plato bridge that night. There may even be other events added on the 27th depending on the interest.

A T-Shirt has also been designed that will show our class pride and will be printed and ready for the event.

Nolan, Kirk, Bobby and Sandra have been helping locate lost grads. I have had a good time calling both grads and parents. I've just been on the phone with Michelle, Duane, TJ's wife, and the parents of Juliana, Sheila, Steve, Eddie, Stacy, and Todd. I am doing more phone work than I am used to and I am glad to see the addresses and details of the event fall into place!

We are still gathering contact information and I've been calling parents and friends to locate 1987 grads. I expect that we will mail out the registrations and agendas in the next few weeks.
